Hosts of The Three Bears are Doug and Doris Lyon. Doug and Doris enjoy the outdoors, gardening, and cooking. Doug and Doris both speak German fluently.

The accomodation consists of a suite with a queen size bed and two single beds, and two single rooms each with a queen size bed. All bedrooms have access to an outdoor deck and look onto forest and flowers. Two separate bathrooms are available for the guests.

The Three Bears backs onto a beautiful forest with many trails meandering through it. Guests have access to many miles of hiking and mountain bike trails. One can listen to the nearby creeks as they sit around a warm fire on cool summer evenings.

A hearty home cooked breakfast is included in the price. Afternoon coffee and cake or packed lunches can also be arranged.

Transportation to The Three Bears can be made by car, Greyhound Bus Lines, or Canadian Regional Airlines and Air BC at the Cranbrook International Airport. Guests can be picked up at the airport.
